The third meeting was held on 26 - 27, August, 2006 at Fuji Institute for Education and Training.
Professor Michael Karin talked about IKK complex and the control of inflammation and cell survival in his plenary lecture.
Professor Gerard Karsenty gave his talk on his recent research related to Novel aspects of Runx2 and ATF4 biology.
Professor Shizuo Akira talked about Pathogen Recognition by Innate Immunity, including Toll Like Receptor family.
The 2nd day, Professor Peter Tontonoz talked about Control of adipocyte differentiation and metabolism by nuclear receptors. In this session, Dr. Hirochika Kitagawa showed the role of WINAC in VDR transcriptional mechanism.
